Course Outcome (CO)

Basic Knowledge of the society -Students get aware of the various issues that are important for society and which directly or indirectly influence us.
Communication Skills -Effective Communication skills are a part of the course and it is the need of the hour. It will help the students to plan his/her career, such as realistic goals, behave more maturely, manage time effectively and emerge as a winner in tasks that they undertake.
Life-long learning -Students would recognize the need for, and have the preparation and ability to engage and in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context of technological change.
Individual and Teamwork -Students would function effectively as an individual and as a member or leader in diverse teams and multidisciplinary settings.
Problem analysis -Students would be able to identify, formulate, review and analyze the complex problems of the society reaching substantiated conclusions.
Ethics -Students would be able to reflect various basic human values that we need to adapt to make our lives as well as those of others around meaningful and happier.
Environment and Sustainability -Students will be aware of the concerns of the environment and be more responsible towards sustainable development of the environment.

To make the learner familiar with the basic concepts concerning his or her life, governance, nature and society and thus mould his or her personal in the sustainable life path of progress and well-being.
To give an idea of globalization and Indian society to students and aware of human rights, ecology and contemporary society.
To enable students to understand globalisation and society, Human rights and ecology.
